Job Description

• Repairs and maintains machines and equipment and conducts preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.

• Identifies and resolves equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.

• Provides user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing crane with regards to installation, upgrades and enhancement.

• Responsible for the efficient and safe methods of working in the port and around workshops.

• Provides servicing and repairing port ship to shore cranes, rubber tyres gantry cranes and rail mounted gantry cranes and associated equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in equipment maintenance with hands on experience of related machines and tools.
  • Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a relevant field.
