Job Description

· Diagnoses and resolves technical hardware, software and Business applications issues.

· Manages and maintains Terminal WIFI equipment’s, CCTV, RDT equipment and all IT assets in operational condition.

· Installs and configures computers, printers, company mobility devices and other on-site IT infrastructure.

· Requests, follows-up, configures, operates and monitors Site IT Infrastructure, services.

· Implement and maintain an Information Security Management System based on the ISO/IEC 27000 series standards, including certification against ISO/IEC 27001 where applicable.

· Implement and maintain the necessary information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines, in conjunction with the Information Technology Security Committee.

· Perform the IT compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance both with internal security policies etc. and applicable laws and regulations.

· Educate all business users on IT Systems and applications, via information security awareness, training, and educational activities and improve usage and optimization.

· Participate in audits and comply with IT Policies (Governance and IT Security) and all applicable system and security controls/clause and laws.

· Participate and support initiatives relating to contingency planning, business continuity management and IT disaster recovery in conjunction with relevant functions and third parties.


Desired Candidate Profile

· Minimum 5 years ' experience in a similar role.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science and Technology.

· MCP / MCSA, CCNA, ITIL qualifications are preferable.


· This role is based on-site at the Umm Qasr Port in Iraq, and involves working and living on the port premises.

· Perks include on-site accommodation, meals and transportation, and a work schedule of 63 days on and 21 days off.
