Job Description

• Establishes and implements GT Iraq commercial strategy and plan, to promote revenue, profitability and growth.
• Identifies value drivers of the business and profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share within Iraq.
• Oversees, guides and monitors Iraq sales team to deliver or exceed budget volumes and revenues for Iraq gateway traffic.
• Coordinates and liaises closely with Momentum Logistics Sales team to ensure synergies between GT and Momentum are capitalized on.
• Responsible for management and enhancement of annual Customer Satisfaction Survey.
• Ownership of Customer-related platform for Iraq Terminal Operating System.
• Ensures adherence to CRM system.
• Coordinates with GT HQ Commercial team to coordinate and liaise with shipping line regional offices and HQ as required.
• Responsible for identifying and unlocking customer value through Iraq Terminal, in coordination with Momentum Logistics and GT HQ Business Analytics team.
• Establishes and maintains good relations with trucking companies.
• Creates profitable relationships with key customers/ target audience to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained.
• Identifies and evaluates the risks of any new commercial opportunities to the Company by evaluating their external and internal factors and communicates such information to the Gulftainer management.
• Collates and analyses business data pertaining to commercial activities within Iraq.
• Conducts analysis of existing signed contracts for the purpose of quality improvement.
• Responsible for commercial issues on contracts, subcontract administration, including implementation of risk control procedures under guidance from the General Manager - Iraq
• Reviews commercial terms of tenders and advises tendering team on internal actions, clarifications or qualifications to clients.
• Performs other duties as required.


Desired Candidate Profile

The staff will have to drive the overall responsibility of the commercial activities within Gulftainer Iraq through strong commercial awareness, strong client liaison skills, project management and team leadership.
