Job Description

The successful candidate will have personal presence, character and determination as well as an extensive understanding of the global port, shipping landscape and trading markets.

Key objectives will be the deliverable of targeted TEU Volumes throughout UAE terminal facilities as well as the targeted tonnage related to the non-container related business; support colleagues to develop and build firm multi-level stakeholder relationships; ensure market awareness of the advantages held by our UAE Terminals and work towards customers to build and present compelling long-term propositions which align value with the strategic direction of our business and importantly, generate new profitable business.


Desired Candidate Profile

• An ideal candidate for this role, would have at least 10 years’ experience in a container terminal operational/commercial environment.

• Sound understanding of all aspects of Port Operations, support functions and developed information systems, and the ability to analyze and interpret relatively complex statistics and data in a logical manner, are essential traits to be successful in this job.

• The incumbent should be competently able to present findings and recommendations to Senior Management, within agreed timelines.
